Inauguration of The Angola-India Business Council Strengthens Bilateral Cooperation And Economic Partnership on 03rd of September 2026

The Angola-India Business Council was officially inaugurated yesterday, September 3rd, in an event that brought together prominent business leaders, investors, and innovators from both nations. The ceremony was led by His Excellency Mr. Clemente Camenha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Angola to the Republic of India, in his capacity as Guest of Honor.

The establishment of the Angola-India Business Council marks a significant milestone in the historical and fraternal relations of cooperation between the two countries. The initiative comes at an opportune moment to leverage various investment opportunities in Angola, consolidating strategic partnerships that will contribute to deepening economic and business cooperation between the two nations.

In his speech, His Excellency Ambassador Clemente Camenha reiterated the invitation to the Indian business community, investors, and entrepreneurs to look at Angola as a dynamic and attractive investment destination, as well as a strategic gateway to other countries in the region.

As a result of this inaugural milestone, a business mission was announced that will take a delegation of Indian entrepreneurs to Angola this coming November.
