Introduction of the New Executive Board of the Association of Angolan Students in India on 5th of September 2026

On September 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM, the presentation ceremony of the new leadership of the Association of Angolan Students in India took place in the meeting room of the Embassy of the Republic of Angola in the Republic of India. The new board is led by student João Ncola Franque, following the elections held on July 20 of this year.

The ceremony was presided over by H.E. the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Angola to the Republic of India, Clemente Camenha. The Diplomatic Corps of the Angolan Embassy and Angolan students in India were present, and the event was witnessed by Mr. Caetano Capitão, President of the Angola-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Speaking at the event, the Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to the Republic of India urged the students to guide their actions—both academic and social—within the framework of exemplary behavior and to stay focused on their studies so that the country can be proud of them.

On the occasion, Ambassador Clemente Camenha expressed the Diplomatic Mission’s full readiness to provide all the institutional support the students may need, and expressed gratitude and recognition to the outgoing leadership for the commendable work accomplished during their mandate.
